Websites for cleaning companies in Florida

They’re handing you the keys. Your website has to earn that trust.

A cleaning company’s website should make it easy to trust you and easy to ask for a visit: what you clean, homes, offices or both, how often, the areas you cover and a short request form. Business customers also want to know how sales tax works. We build it, host it and keep it current.

What it needs

What a cleaning company’s website needs.

Six things we build into every cleaning site, and why each one matters to someone deciding who to let into their home or office.

  • Homes, offices, or both

Say who you clean for. Homeowners and office managers ask different questions, and Florida taxes their cleaning differently.

  • How often, and what each visit covers

Weekly, every two weeks, monthly, one-time deep cleans, move-in and move-out: what each one includes, so a request already says what the customer needs.

  • Who comes through the door

Customers want to know who will be in their home: your team, your insurance, how you hire and train. Say only what is true; we never add claims like “background checked” or “bonded” unless you are.

  • Tax spelled out for businesses

Cleaning offices, stores and other business buildings is taxable in Florida; cleaning homes is not. A page for business customers should say that tax is added to the price.

  • The areas you cover

A clear list of the towns or neighborhoods you serve, so nearby customers know you come to them and far-away ones don’t wait for a reply you can’t give.

  • Real photos of your work

Photos of rooms you actually cleaned, with the owner’s permission, never stock photos dressed up as your work, and a link to your Google reviews. We never write, buy or filter reviews.

Sales tax

Florida taxes some cleaning, not all. Say it plainly.

If you clean for businesses, your website and quotes should make the tax clear. Here’s the official picture from the Florida Department of Revenue.

  • Business cleaning is taxable. Nonresidential cleaning services are subject to state sales tax plus any county surtax: janitorial work, office cleaning, maid services in business buildings, window cleaning and more (Florida Department of Revenue; section 212.05, Florida Statutes).
  • Home cleaning is not. Residential cleaning is not taxable, and neither are carpet cleaning or pressure cleaning the outside of a building. Cleaning fees a vacation-rental guest must pay are taxable (Florida Department of Revenue).
  • Mixed jobs: list the charges separately. When one job has taxable and non-taxable parts, the charges have to be listed separately, or the whole job is presumed taxable (section 212.05(1)(i), Florida Statutes).
  • Mold remediation is licensed work. Treating mold over 10 square feet is mold remediation, and a company may not offer it without a state license (sections 468.8411 and 468.8419, Florida Statutes). We don’t put mold removal on a cleaning site without one.

General information, not tax or legal advice. Ask the Department of Revenue or your accountant about your own situation.

How it works

From your first message to a calendar that fills up.

  1. Tell us about your cleaning business

Homes, offices or both, the areas you cover, how you schedule and what makes your team trustworthy. One email or one call is enough.

  2. Get a written quote

A plain-English plan for the pages and a written price. Nothing starts until you say yes.

  3. See it before it goes live

You click through a working version on your phone, the way a customer would, and tell us what to change.

  4. We host it and keep it current

Secure hosting, updates and backups are on us, with one content change a month included, such as holiday openings.

Two ways to get your site.

Done for you

Our team designs it, builds it and looks after it

  • A written quote before any work starts
  • A first version to click through, early on
  • Hosting, updates and backups handled by us
  • One person answers for the work, start to finish

Is house cleaning taxable in Florida?

No. The Florida Department of Revenue says residential cleaning services are not taxable, while nonresidential cleaning, like offices and stores, is taxable. If you do both, list the charges separately. This is general information, not tax advice.

Should my site say we’re bonded and insured?

Only if you are, and say exactly what you have, for example general liability insurance. We never add trust badges or claims you can’t back up.

Can my cleaning company offer mold removal?

Not without a mold remediation license if the mold covers more than 10 square feet (sections 468.8411 and 468.8419, Florida Statutes). We keep mold remediation off the site unless you hold the license.

Should my cleaning site be in Spanish?

If your team can serve customers in Spanish, yes. More than 1 in 5 Floridians age 5 and older speak Spanish at home (U.S. Census Bureau, 2020–2024). We write both versions.

How much does a cleaning company website cost?

Every website job gets a written quote before any work starts, and our website price guide shows our real price ranges. Tell us what you need and you get a plain-English plan and your exact price, usually within a few hours and always within one business day.

Can I build the site myself instead?

Yes. Atlas Web, our AI website builder, makes a site from one sentence about your business, and you change anything just by asking, in English or Spanish. You start with 500 free credits, no card needed, and you preview every page before you pay. If you would rather not do it yourself, we build it for you.

Ready when you are

Want to see your cleaning website before you decide?

Tell us about your cleaning business in your own words. We usually reply within a few hours, and always within one business day, with a plan and a written quote. Nothing starts until you say so.
