Websites for plumbers in Florida

When there’s water on the floor, the call button has to be right there.

A plumbing website has one job: turn a worried visitor into a phone call. That means a call button on every screen, the towns you cover, your Florida license number with a link to check it, real photos of your work and a short request form. We build that, host it and keep it up to date.

What it needs

What a plumber’s website needs.

Six things we build into every plumbing site, and why each one matters to the person about to call you.

  • A call button that never scrolls away

On phones the call button stays pinned to the bottom of the screen; on computers the number sits in the header. Nobody with a leak should have to hunt for it.

  • Your hours, said plainly

When you answer, and whether you take after-hours or emergency calls. If you do, say exactly when. If you don’t, say that too: it saves you calls you can’t take.

  • The towns you cover

A clear list of the towns or ZIP codes you serve, so people nearby know you’re local and people far away don’t waste a call.

  • Your license number, with a link to check it

Florida law says your license number belongs on your advertising. We show it next to your name, with a link to the state’s license search.

  • A page for each kind of job

Water heaters, drain cleaning, leak detection, repiping, sewer lines: each gets its own short page, so a search for that exact job can lead to you. Nobody can promise a ranking; this gives you a fair chance.

  • Real photos, real reviews

Photos of your own work, van and team, never someone else’s. A link to your Google reviews so customers read them there. We never write, buy or filter reviews.

Your license

Show your license where customers can check it.

Florida licenses plumbing contractors through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). There are two kinds of license, and the first letters of the number tell them apart:

  • CF Certified plumbing contractorCan contract anywhere in Florida.
  • RF Registered plumbing contractorCan contract only in the local areas where the contractor is registered.

Florida law says a contractor’s license number must appear in each offer of services and advertisement, “regardless of medium” (section 489.119(5)(b), Florida Statutes). On the sites we build, the number sits next to your business name, with a link that opens the state’s license search.

General information, not legal advice. Rules change: check the current requirements for your license with DBPR.

How anyone can check a Florida license in a minute

  1. Open the state’s license search at myfloridalicense.com.
  2. Choose “Search by Name” or “Search by License Number”, then type the business name or the number.
  3. Check that the name matches, the license type fits the job, and the status shows the license is current and active.

How it works

From your first message to a site that rings.

  1. Tell us about your plumbing business

The jobs you want more of, the towns you cover, your hours and your license number. One email or one call is enough.

  2. Get a written quote

A plain-English plan for the pages and a written price. Nothing starts until you say yes.

  3. See it before it goes live

You click through a working version on your phone, the way a customer would, and tell us what to change.

  4. We host it and keep it current

Secure hosting, updates and backups are on us, with one content change a month included, such as new hours before a holiday.

Two ways to get your site.

Questions

What people ask us.

Straight answers. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Do I have to put my license number on my website?

Florida law says a contractor’s license number must appear in each offer of services and advertisement, “regardless of medium” (section 489.119(5)(b), Florida Statutes). We treat your website as advertising, so we show the number next to your name with a link to the state’s license search. This is general information, not legal advice.

I take emergency calls. How should my site say that?

Say exactly when you answer, for example “emergency calls until 10 pm” or “weekends by phone”. We write what you actually do, and we never promise round-the-clock service you can’t keep.

Can my site show my Google reviews?

Yes. We link to your Google Business Profile so customers can read your reviews there, and we can show your rating with the date we checked it. We never write or buy reviews: fake reviews and reviews bought for a good rating are against the FTC’s rule on consumer reviews (16 CFR Part 465).

Should my plumbing site be in Spanish too?

If someone who answers your phone speaks Spanish, yes. More than 1 in 5 Floridians age 5 and older speak Spanish at home (U.S. Census Bureau, 2020–2024). We write both versions. Only say “se habla español” if it’s true when they call.

How much does a plumbing website cost?

Every job is quoted in writing before any work starts, because a two-page site and a site with a page for every service are different jobs. Tell us what you need and you get a plain-English plan and a price, usually within a few hours and always within one business day.

Can I build the site myself instead?

Yes. Atlas Web, our AI website builder, makes a site from one sentence about your business, and you change anything just by asking, in English or Spanish. You start with 500 free credits, no card needed, and you preview every page before you pay. If you would rather not do it yourself, we build it for you.

Ready when you are

Want to see your plumbing website before you decide?

Tell us about your business in your own words. We usually reply within a few hours, and always within one business day, with a plan and a written quote. Nothing starts until you say so.
