A white house with palm trees and clipped hedges, and a bright green lawn with fresh mowing lines

Every visit, the same five things.

You’ll never have to ask what we did.

A long green lawn with light and dark mowing lines, between trees and flower beds in the sun
  1. We mow

At the right height for your grass, in straight, even lines.

  2. We edge

Clean lines along the driveway, the walks and the curb.

  3. We trim

Around beds, trees, fences and anywhere the mower can’t reach.

  4. We blow it clean

Clippings come off the driveway and walks. They never go into the road or a storm drain.

  5. We close the gate

We check the latch, and we leave a short note if we saw something you should know about.

How often we come Every week in the growing season. Every two weeks in the cooler months.

What’s not on the list.

A regular visit is a regular visit. These are different jobs, and some have rules of their own.

  • Hedges, mulch and sod

Happy to do them. They get their own quote.

  • Sprinklers and irrigation

In Brevard County that work needs a certificate of competency.

  • Big tree work

We’ll tell you when it’s time to call a tree company.

  • Fertilizer and treatments

Florida has rules about who can do this. See the note below.

Treatments: only what the paperwork covers.

In Florida, applying commercial fertilizer takes a state certification, and weed or bug treatments on a lawn count as pest control, even to advertise. So this space stays empty until the owner’s paperwork fills it.

  • Commercial fertilizer State certification: [your number]
  • Lawn weed and bug treatments Pest control license: [your number]

Placeholders. A real site shows these only if the owner holds them.

A year on your lawn

Grass in Florida never fully stops. Tap a month to see what happens. This is a sample schedule.

June 1 to September 30: the fertilizer rule

January

Cooler months

The grass hardly moves. We come every two weeks, and there’s time to clean up the beds.

February

Cooler months

Still slow. A good month to cut back the hedges before spring.

March

Waking up

The grass wakes up, and weekly visits start again.

April

Waking up

Growth picks up and the weather turns dry. We mow high so the lawn holds its water.

May

Waking up

Hot days and fast growth. It’s the last month before the summer fertilizer rule.

June

Growing season

The rains start and the grass takes off. The fertilizer rule begins June 1.

July

Growing season

Full speed. We don’t skip a week, and clippings stay out of the road and the storm drains.

August

Growing season

Hot, wet and green. We start early and keep the mower blades sharp.

September

Growing season

Storm season. After a storm we clear the yard and haul off the waste we create. After-storm calls: [your hours here].

October

Slowing down

The fertilizer rule is over, and the grass starts to slow down.

November

Slowing down

Cooler nights. Visits go back to every two weeks.

December

Cooler months

A quiet month. We keep things tidy and pick up what the wind brings down.

The summer fertilizer rule

Brevard County bans fertilizer with nitrogen or phosphorus on lawns and landscape plants from June 1 to September 30. The cities have matching rules.

That’s why you won’t see us fertilize in summer.

Beds, hedges and sod, by hand.

Extra jobs get their own quote, so you only ask for what you need.

  • Hands clipping the top of a sunlit hedge with long shears

    Hedges

Clipped by hand, square and level.

  • Hands pressing a fresh piece of green sod into the soil

    Sod

Laid piece by piece, pressed in and watered.

  • An orange leaf rake lying on a green lawn, seen from above

    Clean-ups

Leaves, branches and storm mess, raked up and hauled away.

Where the mower goes.
