What’s your air doing?

What’s your air doing?

Find the one that sounds like yours and try the first check. If it doesn’t help, call us and tell us what you saw.

  • Not cooling

First check: Is the thermostat on Cool and set below the room temperature? Then look at the A/C breaker. If it trips again, leave it off and call.

  • Weak airflow

First check: Pull the filter and hold it up to a light. If no light comes through, change it. Then make sure the vents are open and nothing blocks them.

  • Strange noise

First check: Turn the system off at the thermostat. Note whether the sound came from inside or outside, and what it sounded like. That tells us what to bring.

  • High humidity or a musty smell

First check: Set the thermostat fan to Auto, not On, and change a dirty filter. If the house still feels sticky after a day, call.

  • Water near the unit

First check: Turn the system off at the thermostat. Put a towel down and look at the pan under the indoor unit. A full pan usually means a clogged drain line.

Fix it. Replace it. Keep it running.

Three different jobs, so we keep them apart. Go straight to the one you need.

Look us up before you let us in.

A Florida A/C contractor’s number should sit right next to the name. Checking it takes a minute.

  1. Go to the state’s license search at myfloridalicense.com.
  2. Search by the business name or the license number.
  3. Check the name, that it covers air-conditioning work and that the status shows current and active.
