What we build.
-
Kitchens
New layouts, cabinets, counters, floors and lighting. If a wall has to move, we find out what’s inside it first.
Kitchen -
Bathrooms
Showers, tubs, tile, vanities and the waterproofing you never see. With two baths, you keep using one while we work on the other.
Bathroom -
Additions
A new room, a bigger kitchen, a second bath. We draw it, get the permit and tie it into the house so it doesn’t look added on.
Addition -
Porches and screen rooms
Florida rooms, screen rooms and covered patios, built for the rain, the bugs and the wind rules in your town.
Screen room -
Repairs after storms
Roofs, walls, soffits, windows and water damage. We record what we find with photos and a written scope you can give your insurance company.
After a storm
How a job runs.
One sheet per step, from first visit to final walk-through.
-
First visit
We walk the space with you, measure it and listen. You tell us what’s wrong and what you want.
-
Written scope
You get a drawing and a written scope with the price: what’s in, what’s out and how long it takes. Take your time with it.
-
Permits
We apply for what your town requires. The permit stays posted on site, where you can read it.
-
Rough work
Demolition, framing, plumbing and electrical. Inspectors see it before the walls close.
-
Finishes
Drywall, tile, cabinets and paint. You hear from us every week about where things stand.
-
Final walk-through
We walk it with you, scope in hand. Anything that isn’t right goes on a punch list, and we work through the list.
Ask us anything before you sign.
General notes. They apply to every job.
-
What does a written scope include?
What we’ll build, the materials, what isn’t included, the price and the payment schedule. If it isn’t written down, it isn’t in the job.
-
What happens if something changes?
We write a change order with the cost and the time it adds. You sign it before that work starts.
-
Who pulls the permits?
We do, when the job needs them. Ask to see them. Permits are public records.
-
Who’s on site?
You’ll know who runs your job and who’s coming each week, subcontractors included.
-
How do I check your license?
On the state’s site, myfloridalicense.com. Search the business name or the number.
-
Who sees my request?
We do. It comes straight to our office. No middleman, and nobody else gets your number.

Want a site like this for your contracting business?
Slash Pine Builders is a made-up contractor. Its phone number and email are made up too, and the photos are licensed stock photos, not real jobs. This is a sample of what we can build, not a client project. Yours is built around your real work.
